The NPAA has been assisting artists in the region for nearly 50 years and has played an important role in helping talented high school seniors pursue careers in visual arts. Our mission is to create opportunities for established, emerging and student artists through exhibitions, education, and scholarships. For the past 22 years, the NPAA has been awarding scholarships to help high school seniors purse careers in the visual arts, preserving and growing our artistic community! The NPAA is committed to helping offset the ever growing costs of higher education in order to help young artists grow and flourish in their field.
As the only organization in the region that provides these scholarships, the NPAA has created an Endowment Fund with the Erie Community Foundation to keep these scholarships going for promising young artists. This endowment will help create greater financial stability and growth and provide a means to increase the value of the scholarships for future artists. With your contribution to the NPAA endowment campaign, we’ll be able to continue to grant scholarships and protect the interests of local artists.
